This client offers telemedicine and other healthcare services to small/medium sized businesses as an affordable benefit to their employees. Employees who have this service have access to physicians and other healthcare providers 7/24 via an online portal. Board Certified Physicians are able to write prescriptions if medically necessary. Employees can ask questions, get second opinions or use telemedicine benefits from any location with internet access. Telemedicine can provide medical assistance for non-emergency medical conditions such as:

  • Fever
  • Cold/flu
  • Sore throat
  • UTI
  • Diarrhea/Vomiting
  • Mental health concerns
  • Rash
  • Allergies
  • A variety of pediatric concerns

 

What makes this an attractive service for small/medium sized businesses to offer to their employees:

It is surprisingly affordable for the company – just a small fraction of the cost of providing traditional insurance – and can address many if not most of the common reasons why we generally go to the doctor. That means it helps workers stay at work and get healthy as fast as possible. Because access to the medical community is 7/24, there’s no waiting for an appointment to see the doctor the next day.
